1. Introduction

These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Code Innovatica governing your access to and use of the WorkNShop application and related services. WorkNShop connects customers with independent artisans and skilled professionals including carpenters, electricians, plumbers, mechanics, hairdressers and similar service providers. By creating an account, browsing, requesting services or providing services through the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Platform.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least eighteen years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities carried out through your account. Code Innovatica may suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or that violate these Terms.

3. Use of the Platform

Customers may use WorkNShop to locate and request services from artisans. Service providers may advertise their skills, receive service requests and accept or reject work opportunities. Service providers are independent contractors and are not employees, agents or partners of Code Innovatica. We provide the technology platform only and are not a party to the contract formed between customers and service providers.

4. Payments

Payments for services are processed by authorised third-party payment processors. Code Innovatica does not store customers' card details. Service providers must provide accurate payout account information to receive earnings. Platform fees, where applicable, may be deducted before payouts. Fraudulent transactions or chargebacks may result in suspension while investigations are conducted.

5. User Responsibilities

Users must act honestly, respectfully and lawfully. You agree not to misuse the Platform, impersonate another person, submit misleading information, interfere with security features, upload malicious software, harass other users or use the Platform for illegal activities. Service providers are responsible for performing services professionally, complying with applicable laws and obtaining any licences or certifications required for their trade.

6. Cancellations, Liability and Termination

Either party may cancel a booking subject to the Platform's cancellation rules. Code Innovatica reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, abuse, repeated cancellations, unlawful conduct or breaches of these Terms. While we strive to provide a reliable marketplace, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Platform or the quality of services performed by independent service providers. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Code Innovatica shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.

7. Privacy and Intellectual Property

Your use of the Platform is also governed by the WorkNShop Privacy Policy. All software, logos, trademarks, designs, graphics and content made available by Code Innovatica remain our intellectual property unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reverse engineer, distribute or commercially exploit any part of the Platform without prior written permission.

8. Governing Law and Contact

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes should first be raised with Code Innovatica to allow an opportunity for amicable resolution before legal proceedings are commenced where permitted by law.
